Pencil in another game time for the 2021 Alabama football season.
The Crimson Tide’s home opener with Mercer will kick off at 3 p.m. CT, the SEC announced on Thursday. The game on Sept. 11 will air on the SEC Network.
It is now the third kickoff time/TV assignment announced for the 2021 football season as facilities plan to return to full capacity stadiums.
Alabama will kick off the season Sept. 4 in Atlanta against Miami at 2:30 p.m. CT. And the Tide’s SEC opener will be Sept. 18 at Florida with another 2:30 p.m. CT timeslot as the CBS game of the week.
The Sept. 11 game with Mercer would be the first in a full-capacity Bryant-Denny Stadium since the renovations completed last off season.
