Good evening Bucknuts subscribers! There is plenty going on with Ohio State football recruiting so let’s get started! I will of course have plenty more throughout the night and tomorrow.
1) As posted on our VIP LIVE camp updates thread today, 2023 quarterbacks Nico lamaleava and Eli Holstein were offered a scholarship today by the Buckeyes after impressive performances at the first Ohio State camp in two years. Greg Biggins and Steve Wiltfong posted stories on each on our front page late this afternoon. Those two are challenging each other with their camp stops. In addition to Ohio State today, both will be camping at Clemson coming up and doing a few other camp stops too. Both want to compete against the best.
And from talking to those who travelled with those two to Ohio State, both headed to Columbus determined to show their talents and land an offer, and both are definitely interested in Ohio State. Iamaleava flew out to Columbus overnight while Holstein arrived in Columbus on Tuesday night. More on the new QB offers as this column continues.
