Pep Guardiola’s time at Manchester City should be OVER, according to one irate fan who called talkSPORT on Sunday.
Robert the City supporter rang into the Final Word after watching his beloved team lose 3-1 at Anfield to fall down to fourth in the Premier League table – NINE points behind league leaders Liverpool.
Guardiola was furious after the match as he felt certain refereeing decisions went against his side, and a clip of him losing it on the touchline as City were denied a penalty went viral on social media.
The Catalan was also caught on camera thanking the officials for their performance in a melodramatic fashion, though he denied his comments were sarcastic after the game.
Nonetheless, Robert is getting sick of Guardiola’s behaviour and feels now is the time for City chiefs to axe the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager.
But who would he bring in to replace Pep in the Eithad dugout? None other than Jose Mourinho, his great rival who was most recently in charge of Man United!
“I’m done with Pep now,” Robert began. “I’m just fed up of this nonsense.
“He always complains to the referee after the game, but it’s not the ref’s fault that you’ve left a £60million player on the bench and you’re playing the little bald bloke who can’t keep the ball [Angelino].
“I don’t know what he is doing.
“He has had the glory days and I am fed up of him. When he is interviewing now I am so fed up.
“I’d let [Mikel] Arteta take the job, or bring Mourinho for it.
“I’d pay for Mourinho as the manager.”
Final Word co-hosts Danny Kelly and Simon Jordan could not believe what they were hearing from Robert, and asked for an explanation.
“We need a manager to come in and sort this lot out,” the angry supporter continued.
“We cannot defend, we are awful at defending. Kyle walker is dreadful and Claudio Bravo would not save a shot from my toddler.”
Guardiola enjoyed a remarkably successful past two seasons in charge of City after a pretty poor debut campaign, but he may struggle to match such success this term.

And Robert believes the 48-year-old is already eyeing up his next move.
“Pep Guardiola is a three season man and he has had his seasons,” Robert finished.
“I think Guardiola has got one eye on Italy already. He wants to move to Italy and go and experience another league.
“He has got no interest in staying at Man City in the long run, so let’s get him out and move on with the new manager.”
