Chelsea will do something never before achieved in their history if they can find a way to beat Man City at the Etihad on Saturday.

The Blues have been in fine form under Frank Lampard this season and find themselves third in the Premier League.

They are eight points behind Liverpool who sit top of the Premier League table, but the Blues can consider themselves in the title race.

Playing Pep Guardiola’s side away from home at 5.30pm on Saturday – with commentary live on talkSPORT – will be a big test of where Lampard’s side are currently at.

If they can find a way to win then it will be eight consecutive victories away from home in all competitions for Chelsea – something never before achieved in the club’s history.

This includes wins at Norwich, Wolves, Lille, Southampton, Ajax, Burnley and Watford.

Their only defeat away from Stamford Bridge this term came on the first day of the Premier League season in their 4-0 thrashing by Manchester United.

Whatever the result, it is likely to be a high scoring match; City have the most goals at home this season with 19 while Chelsea have scored the most goals on the road with 18.
