Manchester City host Chelsea on Saturday in the pick of the weekend’s Premier League action.
The Blues travel to the Etihad in the hope of recording their seventh straight league win, while City will be desperate to get their campaign back on track following their defeat to Liverpool last time out.
Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson is set to return from injury for the champions for the clash – which you can listen to LIVE on talkSPORT as part of GameDay!
Pep Guardiola knows his side must claim maximum points from the match after seeing Liverpool open up a nine-point gap on them before the international break.
Ederson was absent from the defeat at Anfield but the Brazilian returned to training this week and is expected to resume in goal against Chelsea.
Guardiola has problems to solve in defence, however, with Aymeric Laporte still recovering from injury and question marks hovering over the ability of Nicolas Otamendi.
Therefore, Fernandinho may be given the nod in defence alongside John Stones.
Benjamin Mendy, who was an unused substitute against Liverpool, could start the match on the left, while Kyle Walker will most likely be preferred to Joao Cancelo at right back.
Sitting in front of the defence will be Rodri, with Kevin de Bruyne and David Silva the comprising a midfield duo just in front of him.
Bernardo Silva is suspended for the match, so Riyad Mahrez will take his place in the line-up. Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero will complete the XI.
Frank Lampard will assess his Chelsea squad for injuries this week before determining who is available to face City.
Antonio Rudiger and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are unavailable with long-term injuries.
Ross Barkley missed England’s Euro 2020 wins over Montenegro and Kosovo and the trip to City will most likely come too early for the midfielder.
Callum Hudson-Odoi suffered a hamstring problem while on England duty and is a doubt for the clash.
Kepa Arrizabalaga will resume his position between the sticks hoping to get his fourth clean sheet of the season.
Fikayo Tomori and Kurt Zouma will partner up at the back for the Blues, with Emerson Palmieri most likely deployed on the left side of defence over Marcos Alonso.
Skipper Cesar Azplicueta will start on the right over the Reece James, despite the latter impressing against Crystal Palace last time out.
Christian Pulisic played no part for the United States during the international break with a hip injury, but the 21-year-old has returned to training and Lampard confirmed he is in contention to play on Saturday.
Pulisic has been in fine form in recent matches, netting five goals in his last three league appearances.
Jorginho will return for Chelsea after serving one-match suspension against Palace for picking up five yellow cards this season.
The Italian will be partnered by N’Golo Kante and Mason Mount in midfield, with Mateo Kovacic unfortunate to miss out.
Willian and Tammy Abraham will partner Pulisic in the front three up top.
