Manchester United ‘refuse’ to let Paul Pogba leave in January as wedding video raises questions over his com

Manchester United have no intention of letting Paul Pogba leave despite the latest question marks over his commitment to the club.

The French midfielder has missed the last 11 weeks of action through injury and was expected to return to training this week.

However, his comeback has been delayed in recent days, with Pogba falling ill over the weekend after attending his brother’s wedding on Friday.

A video has emerged of Pogba dancing enthusiastically and talkSPORT host Alan Brazil suggests that the midfielder’s absence since the event is suspicious.

“He was at his brother’s wedding, there’s nothing wrong with that,” Brazil said.

“But he was up on the dancefloor given it large, then he’s taken ill and unavailable for the weekend.

“Imagine what Fergie would do! He’s taking liberties.

“You have to say he doesn’t give two hoots about that badge. It’s a horrible thing to say, because people tell me he’s a nice guy, but crikey.”

Pogba, United’s record signing, has been linked with a move away from the club for some time, with Real Madrid known admirers of the World Cup winner.

Nonetheless, the Daily Mail reports that the Red Devils will not let him leave in January, even though Pogba has no intentional of extending his contract, which has 18 months left to run.
