By now, most of the world knows the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl on Sunday Night with a 31-20 win over the San Francisco 49ers.
Patrick Mahomes became the youngest MVP in Super Bowl history at just 24 years old after the quarter-back led the Chiefs to an impressive second-half comeback.
But, you might already know all of that. We thought we’d share some things from Super Bowl 54 that you might not have known.
Fan falls asleep during first quarter
It’s one thing if it’s been a long day and late in the game – you’d be forgiven if you start to feel tiredness.
But this fan was out for the count during the first quarter of the biggest showpiece event on the planet!
The average price of a ticket to the event in Miami was $7,000. You’ve got to be a next level kind of wealthy to spend that much money on a glorified nap. Incredible scenes.
Marcus Rashford being pals with Jay-Z
The Manchester United forward has been injured for a few weeks with a back problem that saw his manager, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer come under intense scrutiny for playing the England international in an FA Cup match despite knowing he had a problem.
It’ll be a few more weeks yet before Rashford is in contention to return, but as part of his time off, he took the opportunity to go and watch the Super Bowl.
Predictably, he got great seats to the event and met Jay-Z,as well as actor Kevin Hart.
Jay-Z is arguably the most successful and famous rapper alive today so it’s understandable if he doesn’t quite look like he knows who Rashford is.
Floyd Mayweather’s different coat
We all know Floyd Mayweather is one hell of a wealthy man. But this is quite incredible, even for him.
The 50-0 boxer decided to wear a Louis Vuitton jacket that already has bags sewn into it.
Yep, you read correctly. Take a look at the walking man/bag below.
According to the brand’s website, the jacket retails at £4,850 and ’embodies accessomorphosis, whereby accessories and garments blend into one’.
Where it falls in terms of hand luggage allowance, though, talkSPORT is not sure.
Instagram model’s publicity stunt
One opportunist, possibly taking inspiration from notorious sporting event crasher Kinsey Wolanski, tried to raise her stock in Miami by rushing the field.
It didn’t go well, though, as the woman, who was later revealed as Instagram model Kelly Kay, made it mere yards before she was drowned out by security guards and led away.
Who is the beautiful Champions League final streaker Kinsey Wolanski?
Kay was a mystery woman until her friend and fellow model, Colleen McGinniss, revealed her identity.
Kay has 266k followers on Instagram, if you’re interested.
