Matters only got worse and worse for the Lilywhites after Aaron Connolly doubled the Seagulls lead shortly after the half hour mark, before making it 3-0 on 65 minutes.

And according to the latest odds from Oddschecker, the money is now flooding in on Pochettino getting the axe.

Remarkably, at the beginning of the week the Argentine’s odds to be dismissed were 9/1.

However, those odds were slashed to 7/2 after the they suffered a 7-2 drubbing against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

But now he is priced at 5/2 to be the next boss to be dismissed as Spurs look set for an embarrassing defeat at the Amex Stadium – a game you can listen to LIVE on talkSPORT NOW.

He has become the clear frontrunner, replacing Marco Silva, Steve Bruce and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Spurs’ woeful week looks to have gone from bad to worse.

Marco Silva is the second favourite at 7/2, followed by Steve Bruce (4/1) and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (6/1).

Quique Sanchez Flores follows at 12/1, with Roy Hodgson and Dean Smith (both 16/1) next in the list.
