Manchester United centre-back Max Taylor is set to be included in the Europa League squad to face Astana.
The 19-year-old made his return to competitive football last month with the Under-23 squad after successfully undergoing cancer treatment.
The Manchester Evening News claim Taylor, a centre-back from Manchester, is set to be one of several young starlets to make the trip to Kazakhstan for the game.
United have already qualified for the Europa League knockout stages, meaning Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is likely to make a host of changes for the game on Thursday.
If Taylor features against the Kazakh champions, it will mark his senior United debut.
The youngster was struck by illness at the beginning of last season but, after undergoing surgery, responded well to treatment and returned to the Under-23 team against Swansea City in October.
“I feel immensely proud and happy to be back on the training pitch with my team-mates and friends,” Taylor said upon his return to action. “Without the invaluable support of my family, team-mates and, of course, the nurses and doctors, my return to training at this stage would not have been possible.
“I want to thank all of the club’s medical and sports-science staff that I have worked with throughout my rehabilitation.
“The next step is to continue working hard in the gym, and out on the grass, to hopefully make my return on the pitch.”
