Paul Pogba has issued a positive injury update to Manchester United fans as he continues his battle to return to full fitness.
The 26-year-old has been absent from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side since December, having undergone ankle surgery at the beginning of January.
The French World Cup winner has appeared in just seven Premier League games for United this season, and his absence has seen speculation continue to rise about his future at Old Trafford.
Pogba has been linked with a return to Juventus, where he won four consecutive titles from 2012-2016, while Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is also an admirer of the midfielder.
The Red Devils have struggled without Pogba, who is currently continuing his rehab in Dubai but he has now hinted he may be back in action soon on social media.
Posting on his Instagram, he wrote the message: “Slowly, but surely”.

Solskjaer’s men are currently seventh in the league, below the likes of Sheffield United, with just 35 points from 25 games.
They’ve lost more league games than they’ve won since the Norwegian became the permanent manager, leading to speculation about his future.
