Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer will be looking to get his side back to winning ways in the Premier League when they host Brighton on Sunday.
The Red Devils lost 1-0 to Bournemouth last weekend, thanks to a goal from former player Josh King, and have won just one of their last six league games.
In contrast, Brighton, who are eighth and two places above Manchester United after 11 games, are in fine form.
The Seagulls have won three of their last four games, including impressive victories over Tottenham and Everton.
Manchester United are still without injured players Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Axel Tuanzebe, Luke Shaw, and Diogo Dalot for the Brighton game.
David de Gea will resume goalkeeping duties after Sergio Romero was in-between the sticks for the club’s 3-0 victory over Partizan Belgrade on Thursday.
Victor Lindelof could return from a foot injury, which sidelined him for the midweek Europa League clash, to partner Harry Maguire in defence, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Ashley Young operating as full-backs.
Scott McTominay was forced off in the 75th minute against Partizan Belgrade after picking up an ankle knock, but told reporters afterwards he ‘should be fine’ for the weekend.
Fred and Pereira are likely to partner the academy graduate in midfield, while Daniel James, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford are expected to play in a front three.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is wary of the threat Brighton pose to his side.
He said: “They have loads of footballers who are comfortable on the ball.
“The last four games they’ve really, really turned a corner for me and are dominating teams, controlling games.
“Even the defeat against Aston Villa they were drawing that until the sending off. The last four I count as wins for them, really.
“We’ve got to have loads of energy to go about pressing them because we can’t let them be confident here at Old Trafford.”
Meanwhile for Brighton, manager Graham Potter has used a variation of formations so far this season, including 3-4-3 and 4-4-2.
Potter could revert to three at the back in an attempt to deal with United’s attacking threat with Adam Webster, Lewis Dunk and Dan Burn playing in front of goalkeeper Mat Ryan.
Martin Montoya and Steven Alzate are likely to continue as Brighton’s flying full-backs with Dale Stephens and Davy Propper in midfield.
Leandro Trossard will be pushing for a start after coming off the bench to score and assist in last weekend’s 2-0 win over Norwich.
The Belgium international could play with Aaron Connolly and Neal Maupay in a front three.
