West Ham United fans were not happy as their club were handed another nightmare start to a Premier League season.
The fixtures for the 2019/20 season were released at 9am on Thursday morning, with excitement for the new season already beginning to ramp up.
But, for Hammers fans everywhere, the start of the season can surely wait.
Last year, Manuel Pellegrini failed to win any of his opening four games in the league as West Ham boss. The Chilean had to wait until the middle of September for his first three points.
Having faced Liverpool at Anfield for the opening game of last season, there is a familiar feeling of dread associated with the start of a new campaign.
Check out West Ham’s horror opening fixtures for the past six seasons.

In the 2013/14 season, the Hammers welcomed newly-promoted Cardiff City to Upton Park on the opening day.
But since then, the starts they’ve been handed have been dreadful!
In their previous five opening games of the season, West Ham have won just once – against Arsenal at the Emirates in 2015.
The upcoming visit of Manchester City means West Ham have now been handed an opening day fixture against a top six side for the past six seasons in a row.
And while the potentially imminent signing of Pablo Fornals will act as a silver lining for fans, seeing Man City up first on the fixture list will not.
Pep Guardiola’s treble-winners will travel to the London Stadium for the first match in their title defence, and fans are not happy with another tough opening day fixture.
City have won four away games at the London Stadium – more than any other team. They have also scored 17 goals at West Ham’s home; eight more than any other opposition at the ground.
