Liverpool’s record at Anfield over the last two and a half years has been astonishing.

They are unbeaten in the Premier League in 46 games with 36 wins and 10 draws to their name.

The last time Liverpool lost at home was against Crystal Palace in April 2017 when former player Christian Benteke came back to haunt them by scoring two goals.

Win number 36 on Sunday against Manchester City, which ended 3-1, to give them an eight point lead at the top of the table.

The Black Cats were still in the Premier League the last time Liverpool lost at Anfield, they finished bottom of the table in the 2016/17 season.
