Tottenham face a tricky-looking Champions League last-16 tie against RB Leipzig on Wednesday.
The German club have lost just three Bundesliga games all season and play one of the most attacking brands of football in Europe.
Only Paris Saint-Germain (67), Man City (65), Atalanta (63), Borussia Dortmund (63), Bayern Munich (62), Liverpool (61) and Barcelona (57) have scored league goals than Leipzig (56) in Europe’s top five leagues so far this season.
One of the most highly-rated young managers in Julian Nagelsmann, 32, is leading Leipzig’s charge this term.
Leipzig topped their Champions League group by three points, with their only loss coming to second-placed Lyon.
They could have been hoping for an easier game on paper than Tottenham, which is LIVE on talkSPORT.
However, they will face a Spurs side without talisman Harry Kane, who is ruled out until April with a hamstring injury in addition to Heung-Min son.
Leipzig are the slight favourites with the bookmakers to reach the Champions League quarter-finals.
So, who are the players Tottenham fans should be wary of? talkSPORT.com takes a look, below.
Timo Werner is ‘keen’ on a move to Liverpool, according to European football expert Kevin Hatchard
Timo Werner
Most football fans will have had to be living under a rock not to know who Werner is.
He is one of Europe’s most in-form strikers at the moment, with 25 goals in 31 games in all competitions this season.
Werner’s form has seen him heavily linked with a summer move to Liverpool, who could sign him for less than £50m, according to one report.
And the Germany international even teased a Premier League switch earlier this month.
He said: “I can generally imagine playing abroad one day, although I don’t have any specific club where I want to be.
“I am open for everything. I was over in America for a holiday recently and English football was on all of the time. That’s an exclamation mark for the Premier League.
“But there are also big, famous clubs and it would certainly be fun playing there.”
Leipzig’s formation is hard to predict at times. They’re comfortable playing in a 4-4-2, 4-2-4 or 3-4-3 shape.
But whichever way they’re set up, you can put good money on Werner getting himself on the scoresheet.
Christopher Nkunku
Tottenham fans will be glad rivals Arsenal missed out on the signing of the the ex-Paris Saint-Germain star as they opted to land Denis Suarez instead.
In Germany this campaign, the French midfielder has done well with four goals and seven assists so far, proving to be a menace whether creating or finishing.
Averaging 2.5 key passes per game, if he gets in the right areas, he’ll prove a dangerous player, especially given his versatility.
Able to play out wide, or inside, Nkunku is capable of doing damage across the final third, while he’s a set-piece threat too.
He recently netted a cracker against Borussia Monchengladbach, rifled in from outside the box, to give his side a 2-2 draw in the Bundesliga.
Marcel Sabitzer
Sabitzer has been integral to Leipzig’s pressing when out of possession and even more invaluable with the ball.
The Austria playmaker keeps his side ticking in midfield with an impressive 82.1 per cent pass accuracy in the Champions League this season.
He has two goals and two assists in five European games this term, while his form has been solid in the Bundesliga.
Sabitzer has scored seven goals and registered five assists in 22 league games.
The 25-year-old has been integral to Leipzig’s title charge, which sees them just one point off leaders Bayern Munich.
Tottenham should be extra careful not to give away any free-kicks in dangerous areas, with Sabitzer known for his pinpoint accuracy from dead-ball situations.
Sabitzer has a habit of scoring spectacular goals, so Jose Mourinho could ask one of his midfielders to undertake a man-marking job in an attempt to minimise his threat.
