talkSPORT’s Adrian Durham has suggested Tottenham have outdone north London rivals Arsenal in the level of humiliation they’ve suffered at Bayern Munich’s hands.
Spurs were beaten 7-2 by the German club in the Champions League in a game which saw former Gunner Serge Gnabry bag FOUR second half goals.
The result for Spurs is arguably their lowest moment in a season that has already seen a number of setbacks including a Carabao Cup exit to League Two Colchester United.
Arsenal have also been giving a hiding by Bayern in recent seasons, losing 5-1 in their last three outings against the Bundesliga giants.

However, this result for Spurs is more of an embarrassment to the Premier League than Arsenal ever inflicted on the English top flight, according to Durham.
Durham went on to say that Mauricio Pochettino’s men should ‘apologise’ for their dreadful result.
In a furious rant on Drivetime, Durham said: “In a knockout match, you could possibly understand it because you might be going for it so you don’t get knocked out – this is a group game.
“It was stupid management [by Pochettino].
“2-1 against Bayern Munich is fine. It happens, you can be beaten. Manchester City lost to Lyon 2-1 last season.
“7-2 is a humiliation that really is a massive red flag waving in front of everybody’s face at Spurs.
“Something clearly is wrong.
“His [Pochettino’s] tactical management of the game was pathetic. I think his players failed to play for him – failing to run, failing to close down FOR him. They’re not playing for him. That is a massive, massive problem.
“Spurs have embarrassed the Premier League, they’ve embarrassed English football with that showing in that second half.
“They’ve embarrassed English football in a way Arsenal never did. At 5-2 the Bayern Munich fans were singing ‘Football’s Coming Home’. I was embarrassed listening to it.
“No English club should give an opponent a reason to embarrass us and Spurs should apologise to all of us.”
