One truly irate Manchester United fan could not contain her emotion while slamming Paul Pogba and David de Gea on talkSPORT.
Margaret the Red Devils supporter joined Drivetime with Danny Kelly and Darren Bent to preview Sunday’s Premier League clash against Liverpool – and she laid into the Old Trafford pair.
Both Pogba and De Gea are to miss the highly anticipated match-up due to injury, with the former continuing to deal with an ankle issue that has plagued him for much of the season.
De Gea, on the other hand, looked set to feature until he suffered an apparent groin injury while playing for Spain on Tuesday.
The glovesman pulled up while taking a goal kick during the second half of La Roja’s Euro 2020 qualifying draw with Sweden, and was quickly withdrawn with Kepa, the Chelsea no.1, replacing him between the sticks.
But Margaret says injuries are not the reason Pogba and De Gea are sidelined for the visit of Liverpool – in fact, she accused the pair of ‘bottling’ the match during a rant on talkSPORT.
“De Gea and Pogba are not available for Sunday,” she began. “Any Man United fan worth their salt will know that is not a surprise.
“They are not up to the fight. They have bottled it!
“They’ve been given massive contracts and they are not up for the game, and I am so mad they are not up for it.

“But I’m not surprised.”
When host Danny repeated the fact De Gea cannot play on Sunday as he is on the treatment table, Margaret made clear her belief that the goalkeeper is feigning a knock so he doesn’t have to feature against Jurgen Klopp’s league leaders.
“Injured my foot,” she replied in an exasperated manner. “I’m not having it!”
