It goes from bad to worse for Manchester United

United have won just five times under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer since March.

And Evra, who has been working with the club’s youth teams while completing his UEFA coaching badges, is desperate to see United return to the top.

In an Instagram and Twitter post, the five-time Premier League winner said: “I think it’s time to get our hands dirty! @manchesterunited board, are you ready to let us help you guys…? #manchesterunited.”

Evra, along with former United team-mates Edwin van der Sar and Rio Ferdinand, has been linked with a director of football role at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils almost signed Paulo Dybala from Juventus in the summer transfer window, but a deal reportedly fell through due to the player’s wage demands.

Replying to a fan on his Instagram post, Evra insisted Dybala would be his first signing if he oversaw transfers at the club.
