Jose Mourinho slammed Manchester United’s performance in their 2-0 defeat at West Ham on Sunday.
The ex-Old Trafford boss, who was sacked amid poor form last December, insists he could not see any improvement since his departure, despite the signing of three new star players.
Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James all joined United in the summer, but Mourinho believes this is still a worrying time for his successor Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
When asked if he could find any positives to take for United, Mourinho said in his role as a Sky pundit: “No, I can’t find.
“We were bad last season, but I don’t see any improvement this season even with three new players.
“And I have to say players with a positive impact. I like the three and I think they are bringing some good quality to the team.
“But the team as the team I don’t like at all and I’m not surprised by the result
“I don’t think Ole can take any positives.”
One mitigating factor for the Red Devils is that they took a depleted squad to the London Stadium with several key players already out injured.
In a contest low on quality Andriy Yarmolenko and Aaron Cresswell gave the Hammers all three points.
